Not a better way to celebrate Veterans day than with a blind full of Veterans and active duty military folks. It was a beautiful day and the birds cooperated. 50 birds and out by 11 am. Thank you all for your sevice.

In commemoration of Veterans' Day, Team Wisconsin a.k.a. “The Band Brothers” organized a goose hunt for a group of veterans this morning. Despite initial discouraging signs, some birds cooperated, and a particularly fortunate veteran left with his inaugural band. This moment is not only uncommon but made even more extraordinary as the goose had been banded on 07/26/2013 in Ontario, Canada. It was a truly special experience for all involved. A heartfelt thank you for your service, and happy Veterans' Day!

The rain and cold weather this week really had the birds in the area. Two days of hunting with a blind full of vets and there family. 37 birds on Friday and 21 today. What a great weekend for our vets and staff.

This morning proved to be quite an eventful one. W

This morning proved to be quite an eventful one. We had the privilege of hunting alongside some incredible veterans. The day began with smiles and laughter as we set up decoys and blinds. As the sun gradually rose on the horizon, introductions and excitement filled the air. The morning echoed with the sounds of birds and gunshots, resulting in a total of 24 birds. Veterans left with smiles on their faces, and one lucky newcomer had the thrilling tale of a banded goose. We feel immensely grateful to have shared this morning with such remarkable hunters, and every moment was cherished.
